Way to craft these tools was based on trial and error and that experience was passed down through the generations. Italian renaissance was the first wave of a new age, the age of science. The fires of industry: science made europe. Industrial technology was not all about brute force and raw power: crafts that normally took years to master and painstaking hours to execute could now be mechanically programmed and driven by waterpower. Booting up the electronic age: modernity, or what would be known as the modern world was the industrial war. The world of mass production, mass marketing, mass transportation and mass consumption of industrial products dominated from the middle of the 1700"s to the middle o f the 1900"s: computing power was global power. Any graphic image could be whisked electronically around the world and so the world wide web was born: telephone networks replaced the telegraph in the 1880"s along with the newly emerging audio.
