Tourism worldwide take its cue from the largest market the us. World trends haven"t changed much in the past few years should change next year: due to violence and economic downfall in some european areas. Demand shifters: safety, security, politics, economics, seasonality. Travel groups will also alter locations based on safety. Tourism is very important and accounts for a large part of gdp. Target usa because it is the largest market. Most popular place in the caribbean is dominican.
