Document Summary
While the local kiranas are the norm for indian culture, they cannot efficiently offer indians access to new and technologically advanced products. Also, with the poor infrastructure and roads, it would make it must easier and more convenient for them to only have to go to one superstore to get everything they need including produce, merchandise and even services. India currently has poor infrastructure and roads, meaning the locals don"t want to travel far on these poorly constructed roads. And since these hypermarkets need a lot of space and land they are having trouble finding available lots in the center of town and only finding them on the outskirts. Therefore, if the roads were improved it would be easier for people to get to these hypermarkets and superstores. Identify the main changes that mark indian consumers. The majority of the indian population is relatively young, with more than half being younger than 25 years old.
