The most common types of sexual harassment are unwanted sexual comments, jokes, gestures, or looks. Students also experience being called homophobic names like gay or lesbian and, being touched, grabbed or pinched in a sexual way. Other forms of harassment include flashing, mooning, intentionally brushing up against someone in a sexual way, and spreading sexual rumors about someone. This means in a school of 10,000 undergraduate students, 500 will experience sexual assault and 1,000 will be blocked, cornered, or followed during their college experience.
