Another problem would be that the earliest union supporter growers were mad that the labor contracts had not created peace. Workers were still walking out, striking, and working slow. Prop 22 was also defeated, benefitting the union. All of this information is new to me because i have never had the opportunity to study. I enjoyed this part of the reading because all the flaws of the union and cesar chavez were pointed out.
