Mmw 12 article notes the transitional age, document 3: the conquest of syria, Document 4: the spoils of war, document 12: the death of al-husayn ibn ali. Women and men stated in equal terms. Men and women contribute equally to conception: god wanted to create something, it would be created. Later islamic orders gained different views of the teachings, especially in concerns to the treatment of women. Ordinary men will be better than the most gifted of women. In muhammad"s time, women mingled freely with men, and were not veiled: only his wives were veiled. Women on the battlefield to act as nurses and to encourage the fighters by singing and reciting verses. Kharijis radically feminist: no concubines, no marrying children, said muhammad only did these things because god made an exception for him. Others said muhammad did these things as a precedent for other. Muslims to do them: women warriors were religious requirement.
