To manage anger: wait, find healthy distraction/support, distance yourself. Feel-good, do-good phenomenon: people"s tendency to be helpful when already in a good mood. Positive psychology: scientific study of human flourishing, goals of discovering and promoting strengths and virtues that help individuals and communities to thrive. Subjective well-being: self-perceived happiness/satisfaction with life; used along with measures of objective well-being to evaluate people"s quality of life. Assessing positive emotions, positive health, positive neuroscience, positive education. Positive well-being: satisfaction with past, present, and optimism for the future. Positive character: exploring and enhancing creativity, courage, compassion ,integrity, self-control, leadership, wisdom, spirituality. Positive groups, communities, and cultures: positive social ecology. The short life of emotional ups and downs. We bounce back from negative emotions and go back toward neutral ones eventually.
