More vulnerable to bad health with perceived loss of control: losing control = outpouring of stress hormones. External locus of control: perception that chance/outside forces beyond our personal control determine our date. Internal locus of control: perception that we control our own fate. Self-control: ability to control impulses and delay short-term gratification for greater long- term rewards: constantly changing.
