Withdrawal: sweating, trembling, insomnia, anxiety, nausea, and restlessness. Drinking when he is 18, went to the military. 17 yrs: chief of a ship in the u. s. navy. Separated from high school sweet heart when he began training married her 5 yrs later. Father abusive to him and his mother suffer psychologically bc of it. Mother remained with father and endured physical abuse. Found out mother actually died 3 months earlier she fell down stairs thought that was suspicious. Drink more heavily control his feelings of rage and sadness. Alcohol reduced frequency of his nightmares made him sleep better.
