Awareness of team membership, roles, and responsibilities. Unique skills & perspectives of team members. Forming - want clear directions, polite, learn about each other, create structures and norms. Storming - resolve issues (procedures, leadership, etc. ), comfortable in communicating with each other, challenge and disagree, agree on course of action. Norming - build trust, establish roles and procedures, establish communication patterns, team culture/identity develops. Performing - primary effort on accomplishing goals. Emphasis on communication - listening and sharing. Time consuming or no common time available.
