Reflexive action of salivary glands were altered through experience. Unconditioned reflexes are inborn and automatic and are generally the same for all members of a species. Ex: jumping at the sound of loud noise, dilation of pupils. Conditioned reflexes are acquired through experience or learning and may vary among individual members of a species.
