Response = behavior as a result of a stimulus. An organisms behavior is considered behavior if there is an event that causes a response within the organism. For an agent to be effective, it needs to respond to a stimuli faster than other things in the environment that cause responses. Adaptive behavior: depends on the organism"s situation and its history. Some behaviors are simpler than others, and others are more complex and could obtain multiple outcomes. Eyes, ears anything that can connect the nervous system directly with the environment.
