Corpus spongiosum: meaning spongy body, the erectile tissue in the penis that contains the urethra. Glans penis: the flaring, enlarged region at the end of the penis. Frenulum: fold of skin on the underside of the penis. Urethral opening or meatus: the opening of the penis through which urine and semen are expelled.
