Education: widespread agreement that something needs to be done to improve the education of our nation"s children. Gender: gender the characteristic of people as males or females, central to our identity, relationships with other people, your life, your goals, are often shaped by your gender. Usually, our attention is directed to a person"s uniqueness. The interplay of the biological, cognitive and socioemotional processes is what creates the pattern of human development. Biological processes changes in an individual"s body. Genes we get from our parents, brain"s development, gaining of height and weight, motor skill development, and hormonal changes are all reflections of biological processes during development. Cognitive processes changes in an individual"s thought, intelligence, and language.
