Recall ~ abstract data types, or adts, are specifications for a group of values and the operations on those values that is defined conceptually and independently of any programming language. A data structure is an implementation of an adt within a programming language. Recall ~ an adt bag consists of an unordered collection. Bags are a kind of collection, and collections are a general term for an adt. Recall ~ a class interface does not include data fields, constructors, private methods, or protected methods. Recall ~ if a main method is static and calls another method, it must also be static. Contains a finite amount of items in no order. All objects have the same or related data types: example: methods of bags in uml (unified modeling language) It is difficult to test most bag methods until a collection has been made.
