Ethnography: concepts and questions, methodology, fieldwork, writing it up. Fieldwork video doing anthropology: participant observation, qualitative and quantitative, responsible to peers and informants, ethical, reflexivity. The essentials of fieldwork involve talking and observing. You are essentially making connections and gathering information which would otherwise be unknown. Fieldwork helps us to ask questions and to actually know and understand in a way that is not possible without physical participation.
