Change is a process that requires a change agent who plans, implements and assesses the change. Organisational fitness profiling can help turn the six silent killers into organisational strengths. Messages are encoded by sender before they"re sent. Messages are decoded by receiver after they"re received. If message isn"t correctly transmitted when encoding and decoding subject to distortion. Encoding and decoding process is shaped by a number of factors: Selective perception only hear some of the information received. Selective retention only remember some of the information heard. Helps us understand how our messages are received. Feedback is also communication subject to distortion. Communication throughput information is translated and distributed to particular parts of organisation. Process eliminates any distortion in terms of encoding/decoding. Distortion can be identified and eliminated by correctly identifying: How much and how often to send the message.
