International managers indicated that upper-level needs as of particular importance to them: findings for select country clusters indicated autonomy and self- actualisation were most important and least satisfied needs for respondents. Theory identifies two sets of factors that influence job satisfaction: focuses on the rewards or outcomes of performance that satisfy individual"s needs. Job satisfaction and dissatisfaction are not opposite ends of the same continuum but are independent states.
