Isolation: anxious/depressed, anxious negative affect, fearful, worried. Involves depressed mood and depressed syndrome: distinction not always clear. Major depressive disorder: must have at least five symptoms, symptoms must last at least 2 weeks, at least one must be, pervasive depressed mood: In children (only) this can also be met as a (cid:1684)irritable(cid:1685) mood: anhedonia, loss of interest, pleasure in daily activities, can be self-reported or observed by others (e. g. teachers, parents, friends) If you have one: need 4 other symptoms. If you have both: need 3 other symptoms, other symptoms, significant weight loss/gain.
