20s is when it first appears most the time. A debilitating and unforgiving disease characterized by severe psychotic breaks. Schizophrenia is a neurological disease that creates confusion between what is real and what is not. Split personality is when your mind flips back and forth between two personalities (trauma) You are convinced whatever you see is happening. With negative symptoms, it seems as if something is missing from the person, such as: Having little energy or interest in life. Positive symptoms are behaviours that should not normally be present, such as: Hallucinations (seeing or hearing things that are not real). Delusions (beliefs that aren"t based on fact). Being obsessed with something, such as religion. Women 25 (some protection from higher levels of estrogen). Good protective factor for a lot of things (estrogen) Early symptoms (warning signs) are often evident in childhood. It"s on board genetically but it doesn"t come out until later in life.
