Motifs: garlands and birds = nature in abundance on other mosaics. Parakeet in an emblema in other mosaics beautiful palace. Great altar of pergamon: king eumenes ii instuated a great cultural festival for amena nikephoria to celebrate victory over. Compare to siphnian treasury at delphi = archaic style date 530 bc.
