Plagiarism is all about gambling a student betting that you lack the fortitude to come up with evidence to back your suspicion . More than half of teenagers say they have cheated in a test in the last year. About 70% of university students admit to cheating on tests, homework and assignments. 82% of a sample of college alumni admitted to some form of cheating as undergraduates. An environment in which cheating is ignored or tolerated breeds more and more cheating; it feeds on itself in a vicious cycle. It is harmful to everyone involved: the instructor, the student who cheats, and the reputation of the institution. However, often the greatest harm is to the other students in the class.
