Each language divides up the world in its own way reason why some words cannot be translated. Different signifiers for each concept and word means that there is no real significance. All the languages in the world gestures different words for the exact same things. All humans generate views built upon concepts and built around good, bad, high, low, Marriage for example: nothing about 2 rings exchanged and slicing the cake does not signify marriage. Cultural practises are arbitrary but once we are in them, they are second nature. Myths are always expressing contradictions and trying to resolve them. Genre the ways in which for example, in horror films, the same stuff happens again and again.
