A poem is a machine made out of words. Looking at poetics as an analogy to politics shows that poetics can change much like politics change. Not a victorian poem in the way tennyson or kipling make victorian poems. He says he is going to go and then there is a comma which shows that he. The music of language is present in this poem decides where he goes after he decides to go. The commas show that he is making a plan; they show the thought process. 9 bean rows: to add specificity to his fantasy. You need specifics to make a good image. Nine sounds nice and it is a good number. He is leaving now but he says it in the past i will go now he says twice throughout the poem. He says he will go at the beginning but doesn"t go and then he says it again.
