Stromal cells live throughout the bone marrow. These cells are receiving signals from the stromal cells telling it what to do. Cells will detach and release once they have learned everything. Neutrophils are most # in the blood. Adaptive immune system is small, round and much more nucleus for the size of the cell compared to innate immune cells. Blood cancer = high number of white blood cells. Infections = low number of whit3e blood cells. You don"t want blood cells to go into the tissue. some white blood cells walk very slowly against the blood cell (margination) The immune system depends on discriminating between self and non- self. Once it recognized its non-self it would produce proteins, (perforin). The t-cells shoot perforin into non-self-cell and kills it. Red pulp in spleens responsible to red cell physiology, white pulp is our immune competent areas of the spleen. Each part of lymph node houses different organism of the immune system.
