Amphotericin has agility for agestoerol it also goes after cholesterol (our body cells) Once it binds to agesterol, it released drug into the body. Tissue under nail is effecting nail, drug penetrates with a low surface tension (ie. not distracted by water molecules or other liquids on the skin, focuses drug to the infection. ) Drug also has low infinity for keratin in the nail, infection in skin not nail. The lower the mic, the higher the drug potency. Mic very potent = no growth (least dilute)
