Gendered labels: by adding a feminine leader to many professions, you are implying that their role is not the real thing (woman doctor, police woman) Bias/bias free: ageism, sexism, racism, stereotypes, eliminate these in your writing. Inclusive/exclusive: inclusive includes all people, exclusive leaves some of the people out, mankind vs humankind. Sexist/nonsexist: when referencing the male species we are assuming that male is the norm. Gender free/gender fair/gender specific: teacher, bureaucrat, employee, referring to a gender an equal number of times when speaking of a neutral activity. Generic/pseudogeneric: generic words are all purpose words (people, voters, students, pseudogeneric worlds lead you to think they are including all people but they really are not (mankind, forefathers, alumni)
