Ask child to complete diadochokinetic and other maximum performance tasks (ex. say duhduhduhduhduhduhduh really fast) (rapid syllable repetitions: complete voice, resonance, and fluency screenings, complete assessment of speech sound inventory and phonological patterns. Inventory: roster" of speech sounds child produces, no requirement that sounds differentiate word meanings, speech sounds produced at different stages development related to speech motor control. Include assessment of stimulability (get child to look at assessor, say this after me , the child"s ability to benefit from that and produce the sound correctly . Include assessment of consistency of speech sound production. Goldman-fristoe test of articulation (2nd edition: sounds in words subset. 53 target words to elicit production of 61 consonant sounds, 16 consonant clusters (initial position) Normative data available: sounds in sentences subtest. No normative data available: stimulability subset.
