Fundamental attribution error : we believe people act a certain way because of their behaviour, not thinking of the external factors that could apply. Actor-observer bias : refers to the tendency to attribute one"s own actions to external causes, while attributing other people"s behaviours to internal causes. False uniqueness : a bias refers to the tendency for people to underestimate the proportion of peers who share their desirable attributes and behaviours and to overestimate the proportion who share their undesirable attributes.
