Document Summary

The human condition: the most basic and universal human impulse may well be the struggle for understanding. Science vs. the philosophy & religion: belief or theory dependent realism. Find something to believe and dedicate life to it. You must believe something having beliefs vs being a believer . It is extraordinarily difficult for humans to get behind or underneath the foundational assumption of both their own individual and their culturally shared conceptual systems. Instead of confronting the world how it is you start to believe how it should be. Climate change believing something to know what to do next. Science/philosophy/religion: epistemology- method, what methods do you use to get answers. Spiritualism- religion you don"t get answers by observing, you get answers by listening to authority, they will come through prayer: ontology, ethics. Come up with theory that explains observations, deduce from theory using logic and go on and collect more evidence to either support or debunk your theory.
