A lot of grief symptoms are similar to depression. We do not want to label anyone with a mental disorder unnecessarily. Mainly in todays society there is limits to certain treatement and you. Need to label it because you cannot pay or receive help until you diagnosed. Therefore the challenge is where to draw the line. We do not want to unnecessarily label a diagnosis but also do not want to not label someone with a disorder that needs help. Dsm-5 is the behavior manual for diagnosing a mental disorder. It leads and takes on decisions to make a diagnosis. A man hears voices in his head urging him to do or not to do certain things. Hearing voices can be a component for several mental disorders, not just one. Believing something that is not possible or happening. Example: believing you are a lot more powerful then you are. When birdman"s voice tells him he is god.
