Example 3: child knows the movie is just a story but he thinks dinosaurs are alive today (has difficulty separating from actual reality) Biologist by training and got involved with child psych. Was created iq test and saw that kids of certain ages all made same kinds of mistakes so he thought that all kids follow developmental stages. In the past, kids were seen as smaller versions of adults; but even though they use the same words as adults, they don"t think the say way.
