Sooam biotech want to recreate a woolly mammoth. Have blood & skin cells from frozen example: got some from a famous one. Example: the mission to resurrect the woolly mammoth youtube video. Human cloning goes against human dignity & is not right in terms of human reproduction. Trying to find the intact frozen from the woolly mammoth. Remove the nucleus & swap the genetic materials. China has invested over 100 billion dollars into the lab that is conducting this research/process. Our closest genetic relatives: success rate isn"t really successful, expensive. Primates: expensive to look after & house. Tetra cloned from embryo: other 3 did not survive. Had really bad arthritis which is common. Euthanized her when she was 6 years old, in 2003. Reproductive cloning: cloning with the goal of initiating a pregnancy and this a new living organism. It requires a greater understanding of the genetic components behind disease.
