Definition of socialisation": definition- read above , goals: vital for producing and maintaining society, the well being of members, process: two way process- 1) individuals learn to live together in an ordered way to produce society. 2) society then influences how people"s character and behaviour develops. Examples of different social values or rules for behaviour (norms) that people are socialised into in different cultures. Incapacities due to lack of socialization: didn"t learn how to be human, we are not likely to learn a language unless let out into human society.
