In 2009, road to excellence and own the podium merge, forming own the podium. In 2010, canadian athletes finish 3rd in medals with a historic 14 gold"s . Paralympic athletes reach goal of top three with 10 total medals. In 2012, otp files as not-for-profit, transitions to an independent multi-sport organization. Vision: for canada to a world leader in high-performance sport .
