Document Summary

Other animals eat their prey from the inside of them the most can be either killed or left alive in the process. Braconid wasps are parasitoids only in the larval stage mother wasp layed eyes on caterpillar they had to burrow in the caterpillar and then chew their way from the inside out. Tachinid flies are parasitoids as larvae kill the host. Flesh flies are parasitoids in the larval stage (with stripes on their back) The parasitoid also has to choose the right right caterpillar at the correct stage because if not they will be cocooned and moved onto their next stage. Caterpillars thrash their backend around but sometimes also their front end, maybe there is also less hairs there to lay them. Some also lay on the leaf and then they come and eat them and they hatch from the inside. Both these wasps are extremely common especially with sand for easier digging.
