This is because aphrodite is the goddess of beauty: the hours (horae) personifications of the seasons and the passing of time. This is because aphrodite is associated with fertility. The hours/horae found aphrodite ourania and dressed her because no one else knew she was born. Aphrodite ouranis was welcomed in olympus and many male gods wanted her.
