We create our own magnetic field and this is a control experiment. Internal geomagnetic field is created due to the movement of liquid in the outer core. This field resembles the field of a bar of magnet. Equator: horizontal lines of force they are parallel to surface. Magnetic poles : pointing in the north magnetic pole, pointing out at the south magnetic pole. There are slow variations in the earth"s magnetic fields. Magnetic field in ottawa is 56000 nt: external geomagnetic field disturbances are affecting the technological systems are caused by variations of the external geomagnetic field ( shot duration : hour, days ). The sun"s outer most layer (corona) is very hot and turbulent and because of this gravity cannot hold it down: solar wind stream of charged particles flowing away from sun"s corona in all directions. These winds take 4-5 days to reach the surface of the earth.
