Types of shots how the framing distance is presented to us. ): panoramic view, exterior shot, in relation to people in the shot (usually specks, very small, hardly noticeable); long shot (l. s. Television comes in the 50"s, so movies start being made in colour to offer people something tv cant give them, constant competition. With naturalization of colour comes colour symbolism: cool colours recede, tranquility, serenity, coldness, warm colours come forward, stronger, excitement, passion, aggressiveness, heat, basic colours, dark and light, basic primary emotions. Colorization: black and white films colorized to be more attractive; in black and white shot, focus is the womans face, but in the coloured shot, the focus is his suit, colourization is bad (also dubbing is bad)
