Food, family, and home: food security, knowing where your food is coming from, food is safe, people won"t go hungry, affordability, nutrition. Un 2016 physical, social, and economic access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food. Household food security is the application of this concept to the family level with individuals within households as the focus of concern. Unemployment, visibility, and cities 1920-1939: there was a drop-in employment, the hobo jungles". It was visible in cities: set up homes and communities. The dust bowl west: drought in the prairies, the exhaust of soil, make the wind bad, unemployment, race, status, has a massive effect during these times, urban working class, end up migrating north to rebuild themselves. Unemployment: wages decrease, everything decreases, leisure activities grow. Oral history: people who lived through the depression, what is oral history, said out loud, through interview, between interviewer and interviewee, producing a subjective response, personal testimony. They started focusing on wheat and cow"s milk.
