Eskimo has hundreds of words for snow . There is no single eskimo language (yupik & inuit) Its hard to count the word for snow for various reasons. If you insist on trying to count, you"ll nd out that english has about as many words for snow. Apes can learn how to talk like humans . It is not the case that it can be shown that some languages are generally better, or better in some speci c way, than others. For example, there is no metric by which it can be proven that some language is especially logical, romantic, expressive or ugly. Individuals can have opinions on these matters. Italian is the most romantic language and german is the ugliest language . Its not possible to determine which is the hardest language to learn. You need to consider that a language has many components: phonetics, phonology, lexicon, syntax.
