Canadian government can make laws to prevent you from acting in certain manner in other countries but they need cooperation with the other country. Not predictable what laws will be used which wont. Adoption theory: international law immediately becomes part of domestic law. The charter does not usually apply in foreign countries unless national police force is presesent.
