Similarly, in the face of the longstanding observation that student athletes are often also top performers in the classroom, the myth of the dumb jock persists. Hope there is a movement to return to our active roots and address this fundamental flaw in the mainstream academic construct. Performance in standardized tests (for math and reading especially) are positively correlated with aerobic fitness but not strength/flexibility.
