Women are more apt to develop depression, ms, anxiety, all autoimmune diseases (except type 1 diabetes) Before the age of 50, less likely to have heart disease. Or men more susceptible due to the effects of testosterone. First option more viable because after menopause, they are more prone to heart disease. Less likely to develop schizophrenia during younger years. Estrogen plays a role in how we react to certain stressors. Competitive tendency in men was testosterone driven back in the early ages. Originally the role of the men was to be like this as the women were to be protected.
