On tips of antibodies, variable region exists that matches epitope macrophage: antibodies attach themselves to everything they come in contact with. If foreign, messages sent to b cells and t cells, immune system continues: t helper cells (th2): decides based on signals that the immune system attackers (b cells & t. Interleukin (il) - 1 , il- 6, tumour necrosis factor. , and interferons (ifn: largely produced by th1, some act against pro-inflammatory cytokines referred to as anti-inflammatory cytokines, largely produced by th2, cytokines: released from immune cells. Inflammation should only be present for short periods of time. If for long period of time, can cause other issues: circulating inflammation is bad, th2 releases il-4 and il-10, are anti-inflammatory factors, natural killer cells, juvenile arthritism, autoimmune disorders (ms): given tnf- inhibitor. Immune cell important for our protection: cytotoxic lymphocyte, component of the innate immune system.
