Video(cid:15482) chicks had mastered free fall and passed on their genes. Intrasexual competition: members of the same sex compete with each other for sexual access to members of the other sex. Intrasexual competition: members of one sex choose a mate based on their preferences for particular qualities in that mate. Perception: selection, organization and interpretation of sensory input. Psychophysics: the study of how physical stimuli are translated into psychological experience. Quantitative stimuli > loud vs quiet whisper (quantitative difference) Qualitative stimuli > look at something in dark room vs looking outside where the sun is out (qualitative difference) Light passes through lens, lens focus the light that passes through the cornea that forms upside down image on retina. Pupil (centre of eye) is infant of lens and determines if it will expand to let more light in or go smaller to not let more light in. Iris is a muscle to let more light in or less (dilates or constricts)
