We make dislike or feel anxiety with snakes (affect) We may think or believe that they are dangerous complex some might be more dangerous than others and some just dangerous to smaller insects or animals (cognition) It is possible for someone to have two different evaluations about the same thing. I like jazz music but when jazz music plays they turn it off.
