Last topic of the course complex relationship of religion and society. Calendrical rituals: periodic, ordering function, serve to bring a group together and ensure its wellbeing. They functions in a repeated manner and that occur every year. These are collective and public they bring people together to celebrate. The role they plays in their life is the secure their wellbeing on individual level and collectively the community as a whole. Seasonal: creating links between the cycle of nature and the rhythm of social life.
