Limits that individuals can use force in institutions/organizations e. x. police/hospital can arrest/detain you. Po(cid:449)er is(cid:374)"t al(cid:449)ays physical force, it can be through other sources: Not confined to government and elected officials, way of indirectly applying power: e. x. Power at work in therapeutic institutions(prisons, hospitals, asylums) - power exercised in a way that is difficult to recognize, yet effective. Confinement for those who are considered mental ill/dangerous. Type of power based in visibility and surveillance- not physical coercion.
