Sex is the biological differences between males and females. Sex occurs at the biological level, which includes differences in the existence at the anatomical level, hormone levels, and differences at the cellular level. Gender is the social and cultural significance that we attach to the biological difference of sex. The outward presentation and performance of masculinity and femininity. Sex and gender are dimorphic, they are separate, and they represent two distinct, separate forms. Sex and gender, s not, for many of us, representative of a dichotomous/dimorphic model.
